After completing his M.Phil in Physics Education, he entered service as a Sports Teacher at Kotiyam Sree Narayana Polytechnic. Served in Sree Narayana College, Sivagiri Varkala, Sree Narayan Training College, Nedukanda and Sree Narayan College Chembazaranti. He has also served as Head of Sports Department in Chatannoor Sri Narayana College.
